ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

PRE-RACE PACKET PICK-UP:
Timing Chips, goodie bags with race bibs, T-shirts, and other amenities can be picked up at Augie's Place Restaurant (located next to start / finish area) between 5:00PM & 8:00PM on Friday, September 5th, 2008.

Augie's Place will be the Pre-Race Center again this year.

Goodie bags can also be picked up at the start / finish area from 5:00AM to 6:45AM on race day.

AWARDS
Award mugs will be given to the top 3 finishers, male and female, in each age category of each event, as well as trophies and valuable gift certificates for the first place, overall, male/female winners (Half marathon, 10K, 5K). Special commemorative medals will be given to all Half Marathon finishers. Special ribbons will be given to the fIrst 200 finishers of the 2-mile fun walk, as well as prizes for the most pledges obtained.


DIVISIONS

HalfMarathon, 10K, 5K:
19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & above.

RESULTS:
Computer Chips will be used to provide instantaneous results. Results will be available online as soon as possible following the race.

AMENITIES:
This year, special commemorative T -shirts will be given to all participants and volunteers. Drink stations with water and Powerade will be placed every 2 miles and at the start / finish area. Fruit, bread, and bagels will be provided at the start / finish area. Runners names will be announced as they cross the finish. Students from the ASIS will be donating their therapeutic massage services for runners.
FINISH PHOTOGRAPHY:
Finish line photos, by MyRacePics.com will be available to all participants in the Half Marathon, lOK, and 5K races at an additional cost.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
An event like the Tour de Pee Vee is only as good as the volunteers that help put it on. Join the fun and excitement of being part one of the Tri-City area's premier athletic events, while helping raise much needed funds for The Boys & Girls Club of Central Arizona, a positive place for kids. Commemorative T-Shirts will be given to all volunteers.
